LPNs used to be under the direction of registered nurses and are now under physicians. They monitor patient’s health – for example, by checking their blood pressure. Administrates basic patient care, including changing bandages, and inserting catheters. They also provide for the basic comfort of patients, such as helping them bathe or dress.

Education: They require applicants to possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. They also need to be in a state approved program. Available at technical schools, community colleges, and hospitals. LPN programs typically last one year and result in a diploma.

Joseph Smith.

Reflection: what this quote means is that we should only say positive things so more people can listen and they can make good choices. Eliminate the negative stuff that people mostly hear and will be doing.

Be true

“I am bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong”

Abraham Lincoln

Reflection: What this quote means is that you should surround yourself with positive people and stick with them when they choose the right. If they start acting bad then you should stay away from them because then they’ll make your life difficult.

Character

“Character is higher than intellect”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Reflection: Character shows what kind of person you are. If you’re a smart person and you’re a good person you’ll get along with mostly anyone, but if you’re just acting smart and always trying to be rude no one will like you. It won’t matter if you’re smarter than other people because they’ll know that your personality is dry and dull.
