Final part: 2

A. What I liked about this class is that you learn what kinds of medical careers are there and which one is the best to choose also the student success statements are good because the quotes inspire you to do choose the right. What I dislike is that we have to do the typing tutor and it gets boring at times.

B. Some suggestions that I have for improving this class is to show more videos relating to the student success statement

C. I did do my best in this class I practiced my typing tutor and choose the right on any choices also I stayed focused on finding the medical careers.

D. I have been reading my life plan goals for 2 minutes and keep on adding more when I have the time.

E. Yes. I am committed on being a CTR person because I believe if you choose the right and make right decisions it’ll help you have a better lifestyle and you’ll have more people that’ll trust you.

F. I would try to control my body to choose the right, and my mind to think on what are the best choices before I act upon it, and my spirit to always be positive around people even though they make me mad.

Final: Part 1

My experience doing the interdisciplinary project was a struggle in the beginning I was very confused because my group was assigned what part they are going to do since I got the graph I was didn't know what to look for. Our topic was about keeping the labels as per serving or changes it to the total serving and I had to find a graph that would relate to what our topic was about. At first I didn't really get it until one of my team mates explained it to me. We all worked together in this project even though some did more but we all still pitched in and didn't have anything missing.I had to find a graph that would have those two comparisons of which was the total serving and the per serving. We all practiced with Ms. Figueroa-Aguirre and got used to presenting on front of the class. I was nervous at first because the showcase was a really big deal for everyone that was part of your grade and we had to talk in front of a panel which made me even more nervous because we had to talk in front of strangers. When it was the day of the showcase I was afraid that I’ll forget my lines, but luckily I had my card with me to help me what to day for my part of the graph. My teammates and I were confident during the presentations because we went through it plenty of times and knew what we were going to say. We worked really hard in this project to get a good grade. So after the show case I was surprised it went by really fast like only 15 min which went by fast I was relieved that it was over.

When you tell one lie it leads to another

Paul Hatch

When you tell one lie it leads to another

So you tell two lies to cover each other

Then you tell three lies and, oh brother,

You’re in trouble up to your ears!

So you tell four lies to try to protect you

Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect you

Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect

A life filled with worries and fears

‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies you've told

And half the things you say aren't true

And sometime you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up

And then

Whatever will become of you?

So you lie and lie without even trying

And each lie you will tell will keep

Multiplying

‘Till the whole wide world will know

You’re lying

Then you’ll be

Suspected

Detected

Rejected

Neglected

Disliked

And you should!

When you lie, you’re closing the door

On everything good

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada. Prayers of thanks and special thanksgiving ceremonies are common among almost all regions after harvests and at other times. The thanksgiving holiday’s history in North America is rooted in English traditions dating from the Protestant Reformation. Pilgrims and Puritans who began emigrating from England in the 1620’s and 1630’s carried the tradition of Days of Fasting and Days of Thanksgiving with them to New England. Thanksgiving proclamations were made mostly by church leaders in New England up until 1682 and then both state and church leaders until after the American Revolution. Thanksgiving, currently celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November by federal legislation in 1941, had been an annual tradition in the United States by presidential proclamation since 1863 and by state legislation since the founding fathers of the United States. Historically, Thanksgiving has traditionally been a celebration of the blessings of the (agricultural) year, including the harvest.

Veterans Day
Veterans Day is not to be confused with Memorial Day: Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S military veterans, while Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving. It is a federal holiday that id observed on November 11th. Major hostilities of War World 1 were formally ended at the 11th hour of the month 11th and day 11th of 1918.  Veterans Day was moved to the fourth Monday of October, in 1978 it was moved back to its original celebration on November 11th. President Reagan honored Weeks at the White House with the presidential Citizenship medal in 1982 as the driving force for the national holiday.  Though the Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28, 1919, November 11th remained in the public imagination as the date that marked the end of the Great War. An unidentified American soldier killed in the war was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.; the U.S. Congress had declared the day a legal federal holiday in honor of all those who participated in the war. On June 4, 1926, Congress passes a resolution that the “recurring anniversary of Nov.11th, 1918 should be commemorated with thanksgiving and prayer exercises designed to perpetuate peace through good will and mutual understanding between nations.”
