Athletic Trainer

Duties and responsibilities: They conduct an initial assessment of an athlete’s injury or illness in order to provide emergency or continued care, and to determine whether they should be referred to physicians for definitive diagnosis and treatment.

Salary: $35,000-$75,000 per year

Education: you will need a bachelor’s and master’s degree. Their training will involve extensive medical and scientific coursework plus practical experience. Some schools will provide a 5 year joint bachelor’s and master’s program.

Reflection: I would like to be an Athletic Trainer because you get to check if the person got injured or if he/ she is ok, and can see if they could continue to play on the field. If they’re injury is bad they can conduct where to take her or can call an ambulance.
