Autogenic Training
Duties and
responsibilities: The
technique involves the daily practice of sessions the last around 15 minutes,
usually in the morning, at lunch time, and in the evening. It was developed by
a German psychiatrist Johannes Heinrich Schultz and first published in 1932.
Each session that can be practiced in a position chosen among a set of
recommended postures.
Salary:
Education: The BAS’s one year part time course
is open to those already working in the helping professions, and leads to the
postgraduate certification in Autogenic training.
Reflection: I would like to be an autogenic
trainer because that’s relaxing and you get to help people that have stress
problems.
