Cardiologist

Duties and responsibilities: They provide health care to patients with a health disorder. They will diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases and may perform both minor and major surgeries. Making a mistake can result in death of the patient so the cardiologist must stay alert at all times and know what they’re doing.

Salary: $300,000

Education: they need to have a bachelor’s degree in order to get into the medical school. The most pre-med bachelor degrees include courses in chemistry, mathematics, engineering or psychology. After they have to pass a test called the MACT (Medical College Admission Test). Finally, they need to attend a 6-8 year course of general internal medicine training specialized cardiology training.

Reflection: I would like to be a Cardiologist because you concentrate on the persons' body while they’re doing surgery and you see how and why the person is sick. You also have to be in the moment where you realize that your going to change this persons life.
